Membership

New members are always welcome!

Returning gardeners do have the option of returning to their previous plot(s), if they so desire – please ensure that if you would like to do this, you make your request early.

There is a limit of 4 plots/beds per household.

Registrations are accepted on an on-going basis, although a formal registration session will be held (date to be announced). Interested gardeners can stop by the Northwestern Health Unit at 396 Scott St. to complete a registration form and pay their deposit.

An indemnification waiver must also be signed for the Town of Fort Frances.

Registered gardeners will receive access to the storage shed and various tools and materials that have been purchased and/or donated to the Community Garden.

All shared materials are property of the Fort Frances Community Garden and must stay at the garden site.

Registered gardeners will also receive a membership card which entitles them to receive a discount when purchasing garden-related products from participating local vendors.

The garden was plowed after harvest and clean-up, and will be tilled in the Spring – most likely in early May (weather permitting).

The town’s indemnification waiver is the liability form that all regular community gardeners must sign - please sign this form if you have a plot in the community garden this year
