Garden fences, gates approved

The Fort Frances Community Garden committee is being allowed to keep its existing fence, with the option to build a permanent one down the road once funding becomes available.
This would be done under the guidance of the town’s bylaw department.

Garden club aimed at kids

The community garden here isn’t just for growing vegetables and producing healthy, inexpensive food anymore—it’s going to provide a learning experience for local children.
For the 2013 growing season, the Fort Frances Community Garden committee is planning a “Kids’ Garden Club,” which will start on Thursday, June 6.
